The Denver office of Hogan Lovells is seeking an outstanding mid- level associate to join our highly regarded Environment practice. Ideal candidates should have 2 to 4 years of regulatory experience, preferably from a large law firm. The associate will principally advise clients on environmental compliance and enforcement defense matters, with roughly 50 percent of the associate’s time focused on the transportation sector. All candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with clients. Strong research and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence are required. Further, candidates should be friendly and collegial with the ability to effectively mentor and supervise more junior associates.
Compensation for this role will be top-of-market, with an annualized salary range of $225K to $295K, depending on the candidate’s overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary or an hours-based bonus, consistent with market practice. In addition, this position will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exist.
A resume or CV is a must for our application system.
