Verdantas is seeking a **Transportation Staff Engineer II** . This position will be located in **Newark, Ohio.**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design
+ Perform technical engineering work associated with Municipal and Transportation Clients:
+ Roadway Design
+ Multimodal Design
+ Stormwater management design
+ Utility design
+ Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
+ Support technical report writing and communicate outcomes effectively to team members and clients
+ Collaborate with and observe contractors during construction
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
+ 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering consulting
+ Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Geopak/Openroads required
+ Familiarity with stormwater modeling software is a plus
+ Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
