As the Maitenance, you will play a key role in the repairs and maintenance of the hotel, accomplish the preventative maintenance program as directed and support repair and renovation projects. The Maintenance Team Member must be able to work independently, as well as with others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
Perform daily Room Preventative Maintenance on all guestrooms and keep accurate records
Complete repairs to all guestroom fixtures, appliances and lighting
Maintains and repairs building's plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
Maintains all fixtures and equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule, and records such as maintenance in log book
Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment
Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies
Maintains and services pools, including testing and recording as stated by State and City regulations
Manage all Master keys and keeps accurate records of key control changes
Demonstration of dependability, with a sense of urgency and commitment to delivering results; wiling to commit the hours it takes to get the job completed; takes responsibility for action and achieves positive performance results; problem solver
Love the look and quality presentation of all hotel facilities, be detail oriented, preferably with facility maintenance experience.

Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and discrepancies are corrected.
Completes training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines
Responds quickly to guest requests in friendly manner
Reports appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department
Meets with vendors and suppliers to discuss scope of repair activities for products and materials and to obtain pricing and bids as directed
Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day
Reports lost and found articles and needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
Other duties as assigned supporting the guest satisfaction promise by the Chief Engineer, Assistant General Manager or General Manager

Qualifications:
Candidate must have hotel experience with a minimum of 2 years experience
Desire to operate a best in class hotel
Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service results as measured through guest satisfaction
Education/Experience: Basic reading, writing and math
Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal)
A solid job history

Must have an open availability and minimum of 2 year Maintenance experience. Must have a basic knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Pool maintenance
