About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Data Services to lead a team of data scientists and engineers in the strategic use of data to drive business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies that align with the company's goals, overseeing the transformation of the data infrastructure, and ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of the data. This role requires a strong background in data engineering and/or data science, with a focus on delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives. The VP will also be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and to drive discussions and decisions that impact the digital ecosystem of the business.To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or tech company, and possess a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform data technologies. The role demands a leader with the ability to engage, inform, and influence senior leaders, as well as a strong aptitude for risk identification and mitigation. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in SDLC practices, Agile development methodologies, and experience with project management tools. Certifications in GCP or Microsoft, strong programming skills, and extensive experience with big data technologies are also highly valued.
