ResponsibilitiesLead initial Product Resourcing production approval process including evaluation of merchandise, documentation, analysis, and communication of evaluation results, and execution of inspector training program.Conduct reference sample selection and coordinate transition to the product resourcing coordinator or project manager.Conduct sample reviews and provide comprehensive feedback to the project manager.Perform XRF Analysis on incoming resourced Components and Finished Goods. (Training will be provided).Assist in documentation of defects and conduct further testing when needed.Research and assist in resolving project issues related to specific Product Resourcing products and process defects. Work closely with Repairs, Returns, Product Engineering, Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, and Inventory.Conduct Finished Goods audits (as needed), create audit report and communicate results internally.Assist in inventory transactions & cycle counts.Support other Product Resourcing QA initiatives as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years jewelry experience preferred.Experienced working as part of a Team.Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes.Knowledge of quality systems and tools.Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.Attention to detail with ability to work on long term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required.Strong organizational and written communication skills.Ability to work on multiple projects and manage time efficiently.Experience using problem solving tools preferred.GIA or similar gemology certification preferred.Working knowledge of InDesign a plus.EducationBachelor's Degree in related field preferredLocationLyndhurst, NJ / New York, NYTravelSome travel required.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at David YurmanAs a company founded by artists, David Yurman champions self-expression in everything we do.
