We are collaborating with a leading Boston-based law firm in their search for a Patent Attorney with expertise in chemistry, including areas like medicinal chemistry, small molecule research, pharmaceuticals, drug discovery, and synthetic chemistry. This position is perfect for patent professionals with 2-4 years of experience in U.S. patent prosecution who are looking to elevate their careers through a variety of patent-related projects and collaborative professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Draft and prosecute high-quality U.S. patent applications in a range of chemistry-related fields.
Efficiently respond to office actions from the USPTO.
Perform in-depth patent searches and due diligence.

Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, with a focus on areas such as medicinal chemistry, small molecules, pharmaceuticals, drug discovery, or synthetic chemistry.
2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution.
Admission to the USPTO preferred; MA Bar membership a plus.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.
