Under general supervision, plans and monitors the activities of assigned administrative and technical support personnel. Ensures office runs smoothly and efficiently and monitors adherence to departmental budget, policies and procedures. Handles complex and/or sensitive administrative duties for superior. Education:

Experience:
Three years of Practice Management or Physician Billing Management experience.
Skills:
* Extensive knowledge of billing processes
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Skill in using billing software applications
* Skill in developing and managing a budget
* Ability to compose, type and proofread correspondence and reports
* Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversees and coordinates work of clerical and/or technical employees in assigned area.
* Manages human resources within established productivity guidelines and the personnel budget. Facilitates training and development efforts. Maintains employee competencies. Monitors and reviews work performance of the staff. Interviews and selects personnel.
* Develops, secures approval of and implements work procedures for area of responsibility; provides input into development of policies.
* Compiles and provides feedback on data related to supply, equipment and personnel budget. Administers and monitors adherence to budget and notifies superior of significant deviations from budget.
* Ensures equipment and supply levels are appropriately maintained by maintaining records, arranging for repairs, and recommending new supplies.
* Maintains a variety of records and logs reflecting department activities, compiles data from same and prepares regular and special reports for superior.
* Performs more complex/sensitive administrative support work as directed by superior and/or in response to workload demands to include scheduling patients as needed to maximize Physician's appointment schedule.
* Prepare monthly operations report for the Directors of Operation's.
* Communicate monthly reports to Physicians to include Physician Profile, Lawson, E-Portfoilo, Denial Reports, 533 reports, and No-Show/Cancellation Reports.
