Job Duties : Design and develop innovative software for Tableau’s next-generation Visual Analytics and Collaboration suite using high-level, object-oriented programming languages. Create requirements and design documents for major software features. Implement software for Tableau’s server and desktop products using large-scale C++ systems on Windows platforms. Work on improving the software development process by building and deploying tools to the team. Work with quality assurance on software engineering projects and provide technical support to customers. Help implement features for Tableau’s Services Manager, which distributes the services framework for scalable and flexible maintenance of Tableau’s core services on the cloud. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 1621 North 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103, 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 1000 N. Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103, and 400 Urban Plaza, Suite 700 Kirkland, WA 98033. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area.
Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or six (6) months of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skills : (1) Java; (2) C++; (3) Ruby; (4) Python; (5) Scala; (6) Git; (7) White and black box testing; (8) AWS; (9) Matlab; (10) RESTful Web Services. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted.
Salary : $127,338.00 - $168,700.00 per annum.
