Gift Processing Specialist

Job Description
Wentworth Institute of Technology seeks a conscientious and detail-oriented individual to serve in a temporary role as a Gift Processing Specialist (30 hours a week for at least 3 months) . Previous experience is preferred but not required. We can train you to use our Slate CRM to process gifts, donations, and pledge payments. We can also train you in soft credits, tax deductible portions of gifts, and reconciling data between Slate and Workday. The ideal candidate has a proficiency in data entry and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter Gift Donations: Ensure that all gifts are accurately recorded, receipted, and acknowledged in a timely manner.
Process Gift Documentation: Produce receipts for donors with accurate tax-deductible amounts.
Interface with Finance Office: Collaborate with staff in the Financial Office to ensure that gifts are properly reconciled and documented. This includes assigning gift donations with proper Workday codes.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience in gift processing is preferred.
