Job Description
SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Executive Director for Experiential Education and Career Connections, the Director of Career Outcomes is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the career outcomes of our students while managing the implementation of best practices based on these outcomes. This role plays a key part in demonstrating the success of the university's efforts in preparing students for their careers and in using data to inform future initiatives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop and implement strategies to improve student career readiness and post-graduation outcomes.
Plan and execute the strategic planning, calendaring, communication, and tracking process for post-graduation outcomes data collection, including system maintenance and reporting integrations. (e.g. dashboards, websites, accreditation, ranking, and institutional effectiveness).
Analyze and interpret career outcomes data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations that communicate career outcomes data effectively to stakeholders, including college administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Prepare and submit the annual outcome reports including career usage and impact reports, NACE reports and campus employment. Prepare onboarding protocols for new system users and provide ongoing user support. (manage ServiceNow queues, support center articles, knowledge base and documentation).
Oversee career services related marketing and communication initiatives.
Maintain and update the career databases such as 12Twenty and Handshake.
Stay current on industry best practices in career outcomes assessment and reporting.
Manage other Career Center initiatives such as career fairs, employer panels, and workshops.
Maintain essential records and files.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :
REQUIRED : Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.
Minimum four years of experience working in higher education.
Strong computer, writing, and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED : Experience using Handshake or other internship and employment platforms.
