Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $231,000-$339,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
Provide long-term strategy for core storage features, SSDs, Offloads, reliability, and performance, working closely with partner teams to realize the strategy as it goes beyond the virtualization stack.
Help craft the roadmap for the Storage Optimized Virtual Machine (VM) family of products and provide technical assistance in execution and operations.
Provide technical leadership to a growing team of Engineers.
Coordinate and communicate among multiple partner teams, including SSD hardware, Product Design, VM virtualization/hypervisor, and others.
Help define the SSD roadmap for Compute products, taking into account offloads, security, SSD hardware, CPU architecture, etc.
