IIOT Project Manager
Location: NJ / NY / Dallas / Atlanta
Our client is a global leader for telecom access and IIOT solutions and supplies service providers and critical infrastructure customers in over 150 countries. They are seeking for an experienced and talented Project Manager to join their US business.
You will be responsible for the execution of a strategic IIOT project for a major customer engaging with third parties and, writing contracts, working closely with the marketing and tech teams in the US and EMEA.
Responsibilities:
Develop and establish the project plan baseline, including defining project scope, acquiring necessary resources, and monitoring all project activities.
Lead project execution by tracking activities, managing changes, conflicts, and escalations.
Foster customer and stakeholder engagement, building trust and confidence while ensuring project progress.
Manage project finances and budgets as needed.
Plan and schedule project timelines effectively.
Implement project-specific risk management, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
Monitor project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Provide guidance and support to the project team.
Present comprehensive reports on project progress, identifying problems and proposing solutions.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within communication projects.
Certification in project management or equivalent (PMP certification preferred).
Preferred experience in Telecom Service Providers and/or IIoT market verticals.
Demonstrated experience in people management within a global company's matrix environment.
Proven expertise in risk and change management.
Customer-centric mindset with strong service orientation.
Solid technical background, preferably in data/network communications.
Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving.
Strong decision-making and conflict management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible.
Highly motivated with excellent leadership qualities.
Collaborative team player with negotiation skills.
Understanding of business and financial principles.
