Position Qualifications

We are looking for exceptional business leaders with strong finance, marketing, human capital or technology backgrounds who wish to leverage and monetize their expertise and business acumen in the next stage of their career, while expanding their reach and impact as a member of a rapidly growing business partnership. to building a successful advisory/consulting practice rather than seeking another full-time operating role as an employee.

to work full-time on a year around basis.

operating experience at the “C” level

successful assignments at the CEO and/or C-level during their careers that reflect deep operating experience and capabilities, exceptional business acumen. Previous business founder/owner a plus.

experience in the emerging growth sector.

leading PE/VC portfolio companies generating out-size returns for investors.

ability to manage organizations undergoing significant growth and change.

deep experience and success in at least one industry that is critical to the local market.

Functional experience:

Strong and current knowledge in a functional area: finance, human capital, sales, marketing, customer success, product, or technology.

Advisory Experience:

to formulate and deliver distinctive insights into key operational and/or industry issues.

board experience with for profit companies.

or recent consulting or fractional executive clients.

Transaction experience:

experience raising capital from equity and/or debt markets, including private equity and/or VC firms.

Compensation: Performance based as a partner – this is not a salaried employee position but an ownership position in Newport. This is not a W-2 role. There is no limitation on your compensation as a partner.
