Austin, TX / Decentralized Research Centralized Operations / Full-time Employment The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the effective management and running of all warehouse operations including inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, ordering, purchase order tracking, warehouse clean-up, equipment transfers, and all onsite equipment maintenance. Manager must provide a high level of warehouse oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of (or preparation for) any assigned event.
**Responsibilities:** Manager will ensure that established procedures for tracking equipment, purchase orders, work requisitions, and perpetual inventory are maintained. The Warehouse Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and/or preparation for any assigned work event. Responsible for ensuring that purchase order system is adhered to for all orders received and all inventory shipped out at warehouse facility; verify proper specification, size, quantity, etc. of goods received; supervise proper labeling, dating, and stocking of all equipment and supplies. The Warehouse Manager will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment Manager will initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion, and transfers Warehouse Manager will also actively supervise, coach, counsel, direct, train and mentor employees in line with all company quality standards. Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which may include evenings and/or weekends. Willing and available to assist with any event operations as directed which may involve some travel. **Qualifications:** Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Ability to make sound business/operations decisions (i.e. regarding employee placement, staffing adjustments, and/or respond to technical, product or equipment challenges) quickly and under pressure. Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft office, POS systems, timekeeping system. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess a good working knowledge of supply chain handling procedures, warehouse equipment management, evacuation procedures, employee management, and facility safety procedures. Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications is a plus. Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. **Education And Experience** Work experience can be used in lieu of Degree. High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3-4 years of Managerial experience. Minimum 2 years warehouse / supply chain/ distribution experience
