About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organization, which is dedicated to providing high-quality health, education, and support services with a focus on community partnerships and the disruption of inequities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the organization, including the development and implementation of long-term vision, strategies, and goals. This role involves overseeing all programmatic, operational, financial, and fundraising activities, as well as managing a large team and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. The CEO will also maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, and other key stakeholders, and will serve as a spokesperson for the organization.Applicants for the CEO position should have a minimum of 8 years' of senior management experience in a nonprofit or public agency, with at least 3 years' in an executive leadership role. A background in social services, healthcare, or public/policy administration is essential, as is a proven track record in strategic planning, fiscal management, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator, a big-picture thinker, and will demonstrate a deep commitment to the organization's mission and the community it serves. Personal characteristics should include compassion, a culture of caring, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to leadership. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree and knowledge of the local philanthropic community being highly preferred.
