Sr. Director, A&R
As Sr. Director, A&R, your mission is to discover and develop exceptional musical talent, while fostering a creative and collaborative environment that empowers artists to express their unique voices and achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities include guiding songwriters and artist direction and maximizing their commercial success in the music industry. At BMG, we aim to curate a diverse and innovative roster that resonates with audiences and contributes to the evolution of the music industry as a whole.
This is a remote position based in Atlanta, Georgia. We will also consider those based in Los Angeles.
What You'll Be Doing.
Maintain existing and cultivate new industry relationships in Atlanta.
Scout and discover new and emerging talent in the music industry.
Providing regional market trend insights to supervisor and wider BMG teams.
Efficiently manage projects from start to finish and meet required deadlines.
Manage budget for projects.
Organize tasks and manage time effectively.
Setting up and organizing artist sessions.
Must Haves.
You have a deep understanding of and proven experience in the music industry, specifically Publishing A&R.
You have a proven ability to effectively manage time, tasks, and projects.
You are an excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills.
You are collaborative and a real team player.
You have familiarity with using analytics for decision-making.
It's a plus if you also have existing music industry relationships/networks in Los Angeles.
