Job Details Responsibilities Provide underwriting support, answers, and guidance to customers and internal departments on real estate closings and title insurance matters.
Determine our company's willingness and ability to ensure within the parameters of those transactions.
Create and deliver relevant educational topics for our live seminars and webinars.
Establish relationships with new customers
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
Being able to provide underwriting support in additional jurisdictions is a plus.
Respond to time-sensitive requests from customers for guidance in closing real estate transactions and mitigating risk.
Support and assistance with business development efforts.
Assist with audits as needed.
Conduct agent education in Spanish
Skills And Required Qualifications Bilingual with exceptional verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
3 to 10+ years of title insurance experience or real estate experience.
Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-approved law school.
Must be a licensed attorney and in good standing in Florida.
Strong knowledge of title insurance rates and rules for all states of responsibility
Must remain current on all current developments in rules and regulations in the assigned states.
Ability to discuss and review proposed requests for coverage to determine potential risks
Suggest and provide adequate language in title commitments, policies, and endorsements that will protect our company's interests while assisting the company’s agents.
Ability to issue underwriting guidelines for all assigned states.
Ability to prepare and deliver relevant presentations to our company’s customers.
Ability to support the development of new customers.
