Client Success Specialist

Checkwriters is a payroll and HR services company focused on elevating every step of the customer experience. From customer interactions with our team to our genuinely useful software that's designed to fit customer needs — we don’t just provide an excellent product. We have a team of experts who care about the details, and work continuously to ensure that the customer experience is the best of any payroll and HR provider.

The Client Success Specialist will work with Checkwriters’ Payroll, HRIS, & HCM platform clients, with an emphasis on training new and onboarding clients.

Responsibilities include:

Work directly with new and existing clients to maximize their satisfaction as they purchase and upgrade Payroll, Human Resources, and Attendance products on the Checkwriters platform.

Train clients on how to use Checkwriters' Payroll, HRIS, & HCM platform.

Create and deliver training materials, such as presentations, tutorials, and documentation.

Answer client questions about the platform and provide technical support.

Track client progress and identify areas where additional training may be needed.

Assist with the Client implementation process including initiation of client contact, creation of transition timelines, and monitoring of project status through completion.

Establish a strong working relationship with each Client and internal colleagues based on clear expectation-setting and mutual trust building.

Work collaboratively with other internal teams.

Monitor and communicate status (i.e. progress reports) by holding weekly status meetings with clients, sales, and other stakeholders.

Work closely with our Client Support team to create self-sufficient Clients capable of using our software productively.

Demonstrate initiative by constantly looking for, and recommending, ways to improve the Client Onboarding and Training process.

Recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience providing exceptional Client Facing service. Candidates in banking, insurance and human resources may be an especially good fit.

College degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or related field, preferred.

1-3 years of prior experience in HRIS, Attendance, and Payroll, preferred.

Excellent presentation and technical skills to showcase Checkwriters products successfully and provide for client productivity, satisfaction, and retention.

Proven ability to quickly recognize and understand a clients’ needs to successfully anticipate potential roadblocks/challenges while still moving the project forward.

Flexibility/Adaptability – The ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder’s consensus.

Effective knowledge and experience with Microsoft suite required.

Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.

Must be able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused position.

Minimal daytime travel to client sites may be required.

Outstanding work ethic and a positive attitude.
