We’re looking for an experienced reporter to drive our coverage of US financial rule enforcement and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations. This is a high-profile beat with the chance to break major news about white-collar crime.
This reporter will be the primary point person in our global newsroom for probes involving the SEC and Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The job requires discretion, excellent judgment and an interest in writing about some of the biggest names in finance. The person will work closely with other colleagues on the financial regulation team, as well as those covering finance and the Justice Department.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about breaking news through exclusive reporting. The person should be familiar with financial rules, regulatory issues and politics. Familiarity with topics such as banking, housing finance and crypto is a bonus.

Salary Range: 90,000 - 120,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
