Manufacturing Engineering Technician
The PCB industry is experiencing a renaissance, with the industry focusing on inter-connect technology and miniaturization. With 70+layer circuit boards and fine features approaching 1 mil (0.001"), the industry is pivotal in enabling technologies in the 2020s and 2030s. This analytical job position will support process improvements stepping forward the products to the next generation PCBs, keeping our position in advanced.
JOB PURPOSE:
TheEngineering Technician at Sanmina will have the prime responsibility of supporting the process engineers. Some duties include, but not limited to:
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support engineering experiments, data collection and basic analysis - The new focus teams will need to do quite a bit of experiments as part of their charter, the technician willbe a key player in setting up the experiments and gathering the data. Help implement equipment and operational improvements. Support Failure Analysis (FA) activities
Gathering data as directed for root cause analysis
Routine process audits
Routine chemical lab analysis
Cross sections and analysis
Assist with product through critical processes
Assist with DOE efforts
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of related experience.
2 year degree preferred.Willing to consider a combination of education and experience.
Previous exposure with Military, ITAR, and/or IPC Standards is strongly desired.
Must be computer literate and be able to perform basic computer functions and programs such as Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills
Ability to successfully interface with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and work in a chemical environment.

Salary Range(annual): $41600 - $52000
