Design fact tables and dimension tables to support the organization’s business intelligence tools and data warehousing needs.
Develop and enforce data modeling standards and practices to ensure consistency and quality across the data warehouse.
Work with data governance teams to ensure that data handling meets compliance requirements and industry standards for data privacy and security.
Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Drive innovation in data visualization and reporting techniques.
Understand key financial concepts and processes such as portfolio management, asset allocation, risk management, and compliance.
Familiarity with financial instruments like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles.
Model data to support client reporting needs, including performance analytics, account statements, and risk assessments.
Develop models that facilitate personalized investment insights and client-specific strategies.
Integrate requirements from financial regulatory frameworks into data models to ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II, and others).
Design models that integrate with external data sources, such as market data feeds, economic indicators, or third-party financial services, to enrich the organization’s data and provide comprehensive insights.
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging professional growth.
Coordinate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure that the EDW meets the evolving needs of the organization.
