[Responsibilities]

- Design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for enterprise Oracle databases.

- Engineer efficient data retrieval processes, focusing on query optimization and system performance.

- Analyze, rewrite, and tune complex SQL queries to reduce CPU, I/O, and memory utilization.

- Utilize Oracle diagnostic tools (Explain Plan, TKPROF, SQL Trace, Autotrace, AWR/ASH reports) to benchmark and iteratively test query performance.

- Apply advanced indexing and storage strategies (B-tree, Bitmap, Function-Based, Covered Indexes, Full Table Scans, Index Scans, Hash Joins) to maximize database efficiency.

- Establish performance baselines, formulate tuning hypotheses, and conduct controlled tests to document measurable improvements.

- Monitor and tune application performance, including .NET, C#, and Citrix environments.

- Leverage experience with Starburst and Trino SQL platforms.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a database administrator specializing in Oracle environments.

- Demonstrated expertise in PL/SQL development and performance tuning.

- Proficiency with Oracle performance diagnostic tools and indexing mechanisms.

- Strong analytical mindset with a methodical approach to performance engineering.

- Proven ability in application performance monitoring and optimization.
