We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Production Supervisor. Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join a stable and reputable manufacturing company of engineered mechanical components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overall direction, coordination of department(s) consisting multiple employees.
Inspects products for conformance.
Directs setup and adjustments of machines and process equipment.
Applies and enforces company policies and safety regulations
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
Analyzes and resolves work problems.
Troubleshoot complicated equipment
Inspection and Maintenance – familiarity with methods and procedures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and minimum 5 years Supervisory experience. Mechanical abilities required. Metal Casting and or extrusion experience a plus. Other skills helpful: MRP/Inventory Control; Lean Manufacturing 5-S; and Quality Control. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
