POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in directly supporting the Senior Vice President of Marketing in all administrative and operational functions across the entirety of the Digital Marketing project portfolio, inclusive of trafficking integrated media, billing and invoicing, reporting and presentation of data, vendor inquires, and ensuring smooth execution of marketing initiatives. This position offers an excellent learning platform for a candidate eager to gain comprehensive digital marketing knowledge, specifically focusing on MarTech innovation, with the goal of growing within the department and making a lasting impact on the resort’s success. This role presents a unique opportunity for a driven individual, newer to the job market and looking to kickstart their marketing career through hands-on learning in all aspects of the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Provide efficient administrative assistance to the SVP of Marketing, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, handling correspondence, and maintaining documentation
Serve as the primary day-to-day administrative contact for the integrated marketing team, inclusive of media inquires
Manage internal communication with many cross-functional teams within the resort, such as legal and accounting, inclusive of senior executives
Exudes a sense of responsibility, poise and respect in all interactions, especially in times when pace and task-load are intense
Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate and execute performance-based campaigns, in support of the overall brand strategy
Assist data analysists with monitoring and evaluation of marketing campaign performance, preparing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggesting improvements for future campaigns
Assist social media team in planning, scheduling, and organizing content
Assist media team with executing all aspects of advertising campaigns, including trafficking creative assets, tracking URLs to publishers

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required; Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Two (2) years of experience in marketing, office coordination, and scheduling preferred
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to implement changes rapidly
Comfortable working with senior leadership and interdepartmental collaboration
Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience in luxury hospitality preferred but not required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Optimistic attitude and a passionate interest in professional growth in marketing, eCommerce and digital products, paid advertising, social media and/or data analytics

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY
$30.00 per hour
