About the Role

The Company, a top-rated private research university, is seeking an Executive Director of Executive Development Programs to lead and manage various executive education initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction of the unit, including the growth of custom and open-enrollment programs, extensive business development to launch new programs, and budgetary oversight. The role involves building and managing strategic partnerships, assessing the viability of new programs, and ensuring enrollment and revenue targets are met or exceeded. The Executive Director will also be tasked with defining the executive education strategy, leading the adoption of innovative instruction and technologies, and engaging in continuous benchmarking and needs assessment to drive program innovation.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible management, business development, or relevant higher education experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years in the same. A minimum of 5 years' experience directing programs and supervising staff is required. The role demands strong client relationship development, strategic growth initiatives, and a broad network across government, private, and public corporate entities. The ideal candidate will possess strong business, financial, and strategic acumen, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines. Extraordinary relationship building, communication skills, and the ability to engage, inform, motivate, and develop staff are essential.
