Belvoir, VA. This is a full-time position, located at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Occasional telework will occur with coordination with the senior corporate site lead.What You'll DoDocumenting the "as-is" architecture and execution environment for existing projects with tools (Cameo/MagicDraw).Decomposing user new requirements into system and software level requirements to specify system and software functionality.Understanding interoperability standards, specifications, and protocols to develop and document interfaces between selected system-level components.Developing test plans and procedures intended to verify the implementation of system requirements in both in house developed and COTS/GOTS components and the overall system.Documenting two-way traceability between requirements and test procedures, both to ensure test coverage of all requirements and to correlate issues discovered during testing to requirements that are not satisfied within the system under test.Supporting test execution, tracking test results, and documenting issues discovered within the system under test.Communicate effectively with team members and clearly present technical approaches and findings in teleconferences and meetings.Ability to work in a dynamic and continually changing group setting.Minimal travel required.Required QualificationsBS/BA in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and 2-7 years of professional experience, or MS/MA in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field and 2+ years of professional experience.Experience working with tools like Cameo and MagicDraw (or similar)Experience working within Windows and Linux/Unix computer environment with Office and SharePoint repositories.Experience specifying requirements and/or developing and executing testing of computer-based software systemsUS CitizenActive Secret clearance.Desired QualificationsExperience with, or exposure to U.S. Army models and simulations.Experience with, or exposure to, requirements management processes and practical application of those processes to real development projects.We Take Care of Our PeopleCompetitive pay based on the work you do here and not your previous salary.Traditional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k matching.Paid leave and the ability to cash out leave.Free access to certified financial planners, wellness and support services, and discount programs.Education assistance and professional development opportunitiesAnd much moreEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
