What Youll Do Model Based System Engineer will support Modeling and Simulation and systems engineering activities

Responsibilities Documenting the as is architecture and execution environment for existing projects with tools

CameoMagicDrawDecomposing user new requirements into system and software level requirements to specify system and software functionality

Understanding interoperability standards specifications and protocols to develop and document interfaces between selected system level components

Developing test plans and procedures intended to verify the implementation of system requirements in both in house developed and COTSGOTS components and the overall system

Documenting two way traceability between requirements and test procedures both to ensure test coverage of all requirements and to correlate issues discovered during testing to requirements that are not satisfied within the system under test

Supporting test execution tracking test results and documenting issues discovered within the system under test

Communicate effectively with team members and clearly present technical approaches and findings in teleconferences and meetings

Ability to work in a dynamic and continually changing group setting

Minimal travel required

Required Qualifications BSBA in Systems Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or related technical field and 2 7 years of professional experience or MSMA in Systems Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or related technical field and 2 years of professional experience

US CitizenActive Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications Experience with or exposure to US Army models and simulations

Experience with or exposure to requirements management processes and practical application of those processes to real development projects
