JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the Human Resources function, in accordance with hotel standards and compliance. Maintains confidentiality in all manners of employee relations.
JOB DUTIES
Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: Recruiting and onboarding for open positions and tracking
Safety bingo communication
Maintaining communication boards
Point of contact for associates in the absence of the Human Resources Manager
All hotel and departmental policies and procedures
Assist with benefits enrollment
Distributes bus passes and parking proxy cards
Distributes building card access
Complete bi-weekly payroll
Meet with new personnel to obtain needed paperwork, documentation, explain benefits, and review certain policies and procedures
Conducts new hire orientation on a monthly basis or as needed and assist HR Manager with open enrollment
Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains HR related work, which may include but not limited to: recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, performance evaluations, I-9's and employee leaves of absences.
Enters new employee information into the payroll and HRIS systems. Update as employee changes happen
Change and update employee information in the payroll system on an as needed basis
Maintain personnel files electronically and paper copies
Verifying employment for current and former employees upon request
Communicates needed departmental supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
Promote positive associate relations at all times
Demonstrate integrity at all times
Demonstrate a can-do attitude and assist wherever needed
Implement tracking methods
Periodic departmental audits
Other duties as assigned and appropriate
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent, some college
Previous experience in Human Resources Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work
Ability to focus attention on details
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Ability to input and access information into system
Ability to remain calm and courteous when consulting with demanding, difficult guests and/or situations
