****About the Job:****

**As Market Retail Buyer for Maryland and Missouri, you will be responsible for managing the multi-brand for Liberty retail stores in addition to Holistic Industries owned allocations in the market. You will oversee retail activations and events across the market retail store.**

* **Build and maintain the multi-brand cannabis business in retail**

* **Create Retail assortment plan across all categories (in partnership with internal, cross-functional partners: Retail Teams, Wholesale Partners, GP partners**

* **Partner with Holistic brand partners to ensure Liberty dispensaries are always in stock and optimizing our internal brands to meet sales targets and brand awareness**

* **Develops & maintains strong working relationships with 3rd party cultivators and manufacturers to purchase cannabis products for the market dispensaries. Known for being responsive, friendly, and always seeking mutual value.**

* **Awareness of industry trends and new manufacturers, so you're able to identify the best new products to bring into Liberty dispensaries. Educate Retail Dispensary Managers on new products**

* **Achieve sales and drive growth through sell-through and gross margin targets**

* **Work with finance teams to establish and meet Open-To-Buy (OTB) and sales targets across retail based on sales trend and potential**

* **Maintains a purchase and delivery schedule for both Holistic and 3rd party, ensuring our dispensaries are always stocked with appropriate days of supply.**

* **Work with marketing team to ensure synergy between editorial content and retail assortment to create a customer experience**

* **Coordinate monthly events to drive sales during peak opportunities (holidays, increased traffic, new brand and product launches, promotional cadence)**

* **Enters purchase orders into appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner.**

* **Follows up on all late orders and upcoming shipments and completes balances as needed.**

* **Completes all purchase order modifications including but not limited to delivery extensions, cancellations, and cost & retail changes.**

* **Communicates with vendors via phone and email regarding PO modifications/changes, PO shipment statuses as well as any other inquiries.**

* **All other duties as assigned.**

* **Physical Requirements of the Job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions, lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance, and lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance. May include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching. Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to artificial lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones.**

****About You:****

**General**

* **Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.**

**Required Knowledge and Skills**

* **Bachelor's degree preferred, as well as 5-7 years' experience in retail buying**

* **Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with experience in managing an open to buy**

* **Ability to be flexible to change and work in a dynamic environment**

* **Proven track record for developing compelling product assortments in multiple categories**

* **Experience working with manufacturing and product development teams**

* **Extremely comfortable in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel**
