**Job Summary and Qualifications**

Under the direction of the department supervisor, the Radiology Assistant assists the Technologists efficient work flow in the department and with the comfort and care of patient.

**What you will do in this role:**

+ Assist Imaging Technologists.

+ Complete appropriate history forms when necessary.

+ Stock rooms with required supplies.

+ Transport patients when necessary.

+ Help move patient onto and off exam tables.

+ Monitor patients before and after exams.

+ Make sure patients are comfortable while waiting.

+ Interact with radiologists, other physicians and other staff.

+ Assist in keeping department clean and orderly.

+ Answer phone following hospital protocol when needed.

**What qualifications you will need:**

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Two years of healthcare experience preferred

+ Current enrollment in Radiology program preferred
