What you’ll do as a Home Health Speech Therapist/Language Pathologies (ST):
In partnership with the Case Manager you will provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and fluency disorders that affect communication. You will serve as an educator, patient advocate and a member of the interdisciplinary care team

To be a success as Speech Therapist/Language Pathologist (ST) Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License
Current BLS/CPR Certification
Valid CA Driver's License
Knowledge and understanding of individual development and human behavior as it relates to the effects of illness/injury; and of the influence of culture on health care.
Knowledge of state and federal homecare regulatory guidelines preferred.
Experience home health care is highly preferred
Experience with high acuity patients is a plus
Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is highly desired

Prior to scheduling an in-person interview, all Candidates are required to complete a computer literacyand competencyassessment. $110,000 - $125,000 a year Anticipated Wage range Speech Therapist: 110, 000.00- 125, 000.00 Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. 21st Century offers generous bonus incentive plans, comprehensive health benefits and 401k (Up to 4% match) * You will be assigned to a primary location, however you will be expected to be available to cover for vacancies, leave of absences, as well as supporting increased census and client care needs outside of the assigned area. 21st Century Home Health puts forth every effort to accommodate the assigned primary territory, but on occasion, in order to support safe patient care and meet the demands of a growing business, staff may be reassigned temporarily.
