We are looking to welcome a highly organized self-starter, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business, to serve as an Assistant Planner to join our growing Planning team. The Assistant Planner should possess strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and be eager to learn.This is a fully onsite position based at our NYC headquarters in the Garment District.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create, maintain and distribute weekly selling reports
Ensure all data/reports have accurate and up to date information
Analyze sales and trends by account to capitalize on unique sales trends and provide re-order/flow recommendations
Assist in creating monthly and seasonal selling hindsights; utilize findings to make recommendations on future assortments
Ad hoc analysis
Skills and competencies required:
Solid understanding of retail math concepts
Must be highly proficient in Excel
Strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude for working in fast paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
Bachelors degree or equivalent required
1-2 years experience in finance or planning role
