Assistant Planner

The Assistant Planner should possess strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and be eager to learn.This is a fully onsite position based at our NYC headquarters in the Garment District.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create, maintain and distribute weekly selling reports
Ensure all data/reports have accurate and up to date information
Analyze sales and trends by account to capitalize on unique sales trends and provide re-order/flow recommendations
Assist in creating monthly and seasonal selling hindsights; utilize findings to make recommendations on future assortments
Ad hoc analysis
Skills and competencies required:
Solid understanding of retail math concepts
Must be highly proficient in Excel
Strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude for working in fast paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
Bachelors degree or equivalent required
1-2 years experience in finance or planning role
