As a Litmos Lead UX Designer, you will be responsible for enhancing the next generation of Litmos experiences across all delivery channels. You'll partner closely with our customers, the UX team, product, engineering, and operations stakeholders, to raise the bar in how E-learning experiences enhance the lives of our users.
Key responsibilities:
Be the voice of the customer, facilitate working sessions aligned with business/user outcomes, to create journey-story maps to assist in feature/roadmap planning.
Plan and create innovative solutions for desktop, mobile, and tablet experiences.
Create low-fidelity mockups and prototypes to convey design options, iterate quickly, as you learn more to ensure designs align with outcomes.
Develop high-fidelity mockups, as design documentation, for our engineers.
Collaborate with internal and external accessibility stakeholders to deliver experiences accessible for all users.
Work closely with scrum teams to ensure working products match design intent.
Perform user research to inform design and business decisions.
Contribute components and patterns to our design system.
Advocate for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings.
Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.
Contributes to the group's shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies.
Experience/Qualifications:
Degree in HCI, Human Factors, Information design, or a related behavioral science discipline.
5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience of SAAS applications, including native mobile.
Proven experience as a lead UX on multiple projects.
Experience planning and executing user discovery and usability research.
