Responsibilities:
The Web Applications Analyst / UI Designer is responsible
for applying past experiences and industry standards in developing creative
solutions and design deliverables to meet business needs, product needs,
technology needs and most importantly users needs.
This role may engage in the solutioning of complex
experiences and prototypes to accomplish shared goals but is primarily
responsible for delivering visual designs.
The Applications Analyst / Designer plays a durable role
throughout the application development process; aligning closely with UX,
Content, Development and Quality teams to ensure visual designs are aligned
with content management strategies and business needs.
Work with all team members in creating the project
definition and vision document, which may include scope, data metrics and risk.
Plan, coordinate, and create documentation and designs that meet both business
and technical requirements.
Gather requirements, research, and analyze existing and
proposed solutions in the development or enhancement of customer experience,
accessibility, and content management.
Participate in the development and testing discipline by
partnering with the scrum team.
Participate in content authoring and production support
to ensure acceptance testing and usability.
Leverage a deep understanding of web application behavior
and data analytics to deliver rich behaviors within the applications.
Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilize
formal and informal written communication methods to communicate updates and
findings; and facilitate meetings and presentations to all audiences as
needed.
Skills/Experience:

8+ w/Bachelors degree
Experience in business and design analysis in a web
application and content management environment Experience with both process and
data-driven structured analysis techniques.
Excellent communication, influence, presentation, team,
and interpersonal skills. Able to present goals, project scope and design
requirements to any level in the organization.
Ability to conceptualize business problems and out of the
box solutions.
Champion of change, process and best practices to both
the business and technical team members. Ability to train, lead and mentor
others by lending subject matter expertise and knowledge.
Strong multi-tasking abilities with project management
skills.
