Front Desk Receptionist_

Responsibilities:
+ Retrieves high volume of incoming calls, screens callers, takes messages and / or direct to appropriate personnel or department.
+ Ensure professionalism while maintaining excellent customer service.
+ Provides routine information.
+ Maintains privacy of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA.
+ Welcomes on-site patient(s) and / or visitor(s), determines the nature of their business, ensuring all policies are followed.
+ Assist in the resolution of complaints.
+ Independently manages requests, and inquiries from all patients, or visitors by responding rapidly and appropriately to complaints, and initiates de-escalation, remedies, and resolutions, or elevates to the appropriate person.
+ Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, faxing, and photocopying.
+ Maintains work area, and lobby in neat, and orderly manner.
+ Attends required meetings, and participates in committees as requested.
+ Maintains established hospital policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
+ Maintains proper hospital opening, and closing procedures.
+ Implements job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the Code of Ethics.
+ All other duties as assigned

Requirements
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Excellent Customer Service Skills
+ Excellent oral, and written skills.
+ Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
+ Detail oriented.
+ Able to work flexible hours/shifts.
+ Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a fast-paced office or hospital preferred.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge of the Office software (excel, Word, Windows, Internet, Outlook).
+ Must be adept at creative problem-solving.
+ Must be punctual.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Professional attire.
+ Positive attitude necessary.
