Power Platform Developer

SCOPE/GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Power Platform Developer will play a crucial role is creating tailored business solutions by leveraging the capabilities of all Power Platforms. It will use a combination of application development, data visualization, workflow automation and collaboration to meeting the unique requirements of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with senior staff in requirement gathering, design, planning, execution, testing and maintenance of technology projects to support program and organizational operations.

Serve as the technical lead for all Power Platform development, including Dataverse, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.

Oversee Dataverse environment management, including data structure, security, integration, and compliance.

Design, build, and maintain model-driven/canvas PowerApps to support and enhance program and organization operations.

Design and maintain automated workflows and business process integrations using Power Automate to enhance organizational efficiency and connectivity.

Transform and integrate data using Power Query and dataflows.

Develop and extend external-facing Power Pages portals for clients.

Employ a variety of data modeling techniques to create, update, and manage Power BI dashboards to deliver insightful, actionable analytics that drive organizational decision-making.

Actively participate in technical communities, staying informed of best practices and technological advancements, and sharing knowledge with the team.

Train and support team members on Power Platform capabilities and best practices.

Exhibit creativity, initiative, and a willingness to take on challenges with confidence and humility.

Special projects as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Equivalent work experience may be substituted.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency (or ability to quicky develop proficiency) in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, M (Power Query), and DAX.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in full-stack development.

Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.

Adaptability to multiple priorities, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Understanding of application lifecycle management.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as they emerge.

Rapid learning ability and strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and receptive to constructive feedback.

Ability to complete tasks with little to no supervision.

Positive attitude, exceptional responsiveness and team building skills required.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
