Tasks and responsibilities: As a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the correct and efficient operation of the logistics process, daily production, and all activities related to the physical flow of goods within the warehouse.
You take into account budgeted guidelines, productivity, and established SLAs. You continuously work on optimizing the translation of customer needs into the logistics operation. To achieve this, proper alignment and communication within various levels of the organization play a crucial role.
You provide daily operational leadership to the team of Supervisors and know how to motivate them to strive for the best results every day. You are highly involved in achieving the site and departmental objectives and also make a significant contribution to the implementation of HR and QEHS policies. In this role, you report to the Site Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring efficient and effective management of the entire physical operation and adhering to budgeted guidelines;
Ensuring optimal alignment between customer demands and warehouse offerings;
Leading and directing Supervisors and departmental activities;
Supervising personnel to promote general order in and around the warehouse;
Coaching and providing professional guidance to colleagues;
Creating partnerships within the team of Supervisors to elevate the team and the site to a higher level;
Maintaining and promoting good communication and collaboration within the site and with other sites/departments;
Contributing to the development and ensuring the execution of the departmental plan;
Proactively contributing to continuous improvement methodologies.
Profile: You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking.
Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Solid knowledge and mastery of WMS (preferably PKMS/RedPrairie).
You have at least 3 years of successful experience in a supervisory role within (fashion) logistics.
You have an independent and flexible work attitude and are capable of making quick, creative, and effective decisions.
With your pragmatic approach, you know how to devise creative, integrated logistics solutions.
You are driven, persuasive, and capable of working independently.
You are stress-resistant and able to switch quickly.
Good knowledge and proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
