We are looking for a Technologist to join the Trust and Security Product team to lead the definition and architecture of early-stage customer product validation in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering. . This is a career-defining, senior leadership role contributing to Intel's transformation through strategic software in defining, executing, and delivering the strategy of our products. The initial focus for this role will be on enabling the launch of a SaaS service in the Federated AI domain. As one of the architects of our Trusted AI service, you will be part of a great team working on the technological vision, strategy, and execution for our cutting-edge AI solution. Privacy-preserving machine learning is a key enabler for robust AI models, and your broad industry expertise will drive innovation, enhance our capabilities, and ensure successful implementation. We seek a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of machine learning, distributed systems, and data privacy. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure the successful implementation of technology initiatives. We seek a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to transform our business. You will provide strategic insights to establish product-market fit, provide technical leadership for the development of the service, and guide the service roadmap. You will be setting and involved in research, pathfinding, and providing technical direction to solve applied problems across disciplines, including training, validation, and continuously improving AI models. You will interact with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. As a technical leader, you are recognized as a domain expert who influences and drives technical direction across Intel and the industry. You will align organizational goals with technical vision to formulate a technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions and demonstrate a track record of relentless execution in bringing AI products and technologies to market.

Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant science/engineering discipline.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

10 + years experience as a product or software architect, experience developing products across industry verticals

Deep experience in AI SW discipline research, engineering, including industry involvement

In-depth understanding of privacy-preserving machine learning techniques, challenges, and opportunities to transform the industry.

7+ years of experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or Tensorflow

Well versed at presenting at industry conferences presenting to technical and business audiences.

Strong business and technical acumen, with demonstrated experience in forging strategic and technical industry partnerships.

Experience developing scalable, robust, and efficient distributed learning frameworks or other types of distributed system frameworks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience as a technical lead and serving as a mentor for engineers.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Multiple years of experience driving the adoption of AI products in various verticals including health sciences, financial, and manufacturing.

Developing AI solutions using trusted execution environments

Creating solutions that focus on great developer experience.

Research experience in deep learning, machine learning, graph analytics, and numerical analysis

Experience working in geographically distributed engineering teams.

Experience shaping R&D agenda.

Experience managing and influencing in highly matrixed organizations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$259,518.00-$415,208.00 S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
