Director Of Commercial Development - Fort Worth, TX

Position Summary

Exceptional customer service is key to our success at Black Mountain Sand. As the Director of Commercial Development, you will be the primary point of contact with our valued customers. You will manage new customer pursuits, ultimately leading to negotiation of terms and contract management. The role collaborates with the broader commercial team to support our customers and deliver the best results for the Company. The Director of Commercial Development will report to the VP of Commercial Development.

Essential Functions

Participate in new customer pursuit process to acquire and onboard new business

Negotiate and contract commercial terms with new and existing customers

Manage customer accounts to ensure alignment between Company and customer goals

Assist in the ongoing S&OP process by working with customers and Operations to align customer demand with plant production

Communicate with Operations team to help forecast supply, remedy customer issues, and spot purchase orders

Maintain customer level detail for contract management and ongoing supplier performance evaluations

Monitor market data to assist the Company in data-driven decisions

Other special projects as needed to assist in developing the Company marketing strategy to target existing and new customers

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Completed Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience preferred, working in a sales, business development, or customer service role

Prefer knowledge or experience in the oil and gas industry

Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decision-makers at all levels

Ability to successfully negotiate contract terms and agreements

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Exceptional communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal abilities

Must hold extreme regard for being responsive and flexible to customer requirements and requests

Highly motivated problem solver and critical thinker

Strong desire to be a part of a high-growth company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a fast-paced, result-oriented culture
