Role: Project Manager
Skills and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong and positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel and in-house professional peers.
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
Assist in fee proposal development, change orders, contract amendments, and changes to scope.
Participate in interviews.
Assist in staff performance evaluations.
Communicate project requirements to team members.
Supervision of project design, including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control.
Prepare grading and public improvement plans from conceptual design to entitlements to final construction documents to permitting.
Prepare technical reports/studies of project deliverables.
Signing and stamping plans/drawings and technical reports.
Technical expertise in multi-disciplined design team.
Planning, organizing, tasking, and controlling project activities, including but not limited to, reviewing, and supervising technical aspects of work and defining the project scope, budget, and schedule.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mentoring and training staff and serving as a resource to less experienced staff members.
Coordinate staff resources with the principal of the company.
Excellent time management skills.
Demonstration of leadership skills and leadership potential
Experience:
3-5 years of Project Management
10 years of engineering experience
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET)
Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of California
