About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Event Rigging Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitability and operational success of the global rigging services, maintaining the company's position as a leader in the industry. This role involves overseeing a large number of business locations across various global territories, directing the leadership team, and ensuring the design, strategic planning, and implementation of rigging training and specialized certifications to promote the health and safety of the technical workforce. The VP will also be accountable for the production rigging, installations of rigging point and life safety systems, and will direct the sales organization to execute strategic sales plans.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a business management discipline, 15+ years of related rigging leadership experience, and a strong background in the hospitality and commercial construction industries. The role requires a strategic visionary with strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines and deliver excellence on aggressive timelines. Proficiency in legal code requirements for rigging in the US, Canada, and Mexico, and experience in international business development are preferred. The VP will also be responsible for industry representation, and regulatory standards development, and must demonstrate competencies in achieving results, analytical thinking, strategic planning, and teamwork.
