Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Act the primary scrub person handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment during the surgical procedure
Act as secondary unsterile person of surgical team as needed
Required Skills/Abilities Graduate of Certified Surgical Technology Program or equivalent required
Current CPR required
Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical technology required
Requires advanced knowledge of principles of asepsis and sterile technique with basic operating room technique and standards
Requires advanced knowledge of surgical procedures with emphasis on various orthopedic procedures and the miscellaneous equipment used in the surgical service area.
