**Description**
**Position Responsibilities**
* Respond to end user questions about systems, applications, and hardware in person, over the phone, and email.
* Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all types of client technology assets and software (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, phones, VDI, peripherals and conference room technologies).
* Assist in higher level IT tasks (e.g., server or network device installation, documentation modification and/or creation, etc. as directed).
**Position Qualifications**
* Strong telephone and email communication skills are crucial
* Excellent customer service, phone support, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
* Ability to interact effectively with end users and/or external technical support representatives
* Ability and desire to learn
* Ability to learn, understand and follow written procedures, adapt and respond quickly to a changing work environment
* Accomplish tasks with minimal direction and/or supervision
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Standard.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and logical skills
* Knowledge of Windows 10 operating system.
* Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory as it relates to user desktop issues and troubleshooting
* Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocol to do preliminary network troubleshooting
* Knowledge of troubleshooting printers and multifunction printers preferred
* Some VOIP (Mitel) a plus
**Abilities required:**
* Able to lift up 50 pounds and use a hand truck.
* Able to work in tight spaces
* Valid drivers license
