A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to join its Information Technology organization.This individual will help design, implement, automate, and optimize scalable cloud environments supporting highly technical teams and compute-intensive workloads. The Senior Cloud Engineer will partner closely with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to improve cloud architecture, reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on cloud engineering experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, Linux administration, networking, and security expertise.ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud infrastructure solutions.Improve the organization's use of cloud resources across scalability, performance, security, compliance, reliability, and cost optimization.Build and enhance automation using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and configuration management best practices.Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and engineering practices while helping establish and improve internal standards, processes, and cloud architecture strategies.Requirements5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience within enterprise environments, with strong expertise in GCP and exposure to AWS and/or Azure.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps tooling, including Terraform, Ansible, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD automation.Advanced Linux administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu and/or RHEL, along with strong scripting or programming skills using Python, Bash, or similar technologies.Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, data storage, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scalable infrastructure architecture. xhyhwjd Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience; experience working within regulated or compliance-focused environments such as ISO, SOX, or GxP is a plus.
