Head of Growth for e-commerce

High-growing DTC brand on track for $100M+ with a fully remote team. We are seeking a performance-driven and highly analytical Head of Growth with entrepreneurial rigor, and strong leadership.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead our acquisition (creative + media buying), retention, and analytics teams. You'll report directly to our CEO, and you'll be working closely with the entire team (web, operations, finance, product, etc.).
The ideal person for this role is a highly engaged leader who is a logical/data-driven decision maker, strong background in performance marketing, direct response marketing, who pushes initiatives with urgency, and is an effective executor.
Goal:
Plan, lead, and execute marketing initiatives to achieve growth and performance targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue/profit growth
Lead and effectively manage the marketing team that consists of copywriters, video editors, media buyers, developers, graphic designers, email marketing, and others
Direct strategic oversight in ad creatives, media buying, and customer acquisition
Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to manage marketing budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure proper inventory levels
Manage growth and creative meetings, fostering a culture of testing and continuous improvement, and effectively managing the implementation of new ideas and projects
Oversee the performance of paid media initiatives (Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok, TV, etc), working closely with the media buyers to optimize campaigns for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Experience managing marketing budgets of $3M+ per month
Coordinate with external agencies and collaborations that support the marketing initiatives
Drive cross-functional collaboration with various teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with the overall business strategy
Process improvement and implementation across the marketing department
Prepare detailed reports and tracking of performance to ensure performance goals remain on track
Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth
Requirements
Ecommerce and Performance Marketing Background
Data-driven and analytical
Effective project manager
Software savvy (Google Suite, Slack, Shopify, etc)
Strong leadership experience
Growth and Results Driven
Strong paid media experience
Strong in Direct Response, Sales Funnels, and CRO
Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Ads
3+ years in a marketing leadership role
3+ years in ecommerce or performance marketing
Broad understanding of most components of marketing and its role in the business
Fast learner and strong execution skills
