for a Chief Development Officer.
Rawson Saunders is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO). This
is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and experienced
development professional to lead and innovate within a school
renowned for its transformative approach to dyslexia
education.
The CDO will be part of a dedicated team that empowers and inspires
students to become confident lifelong learners and extraordinary
contributors to the world.
Reporting directly to the Head of School and collaborating with the
Rawson Saunders Board of Trustees, the CDO will lead a dynamic
development program designed to meet the school's annual
fundraising goals and support its strategic vision.
In the role, you will:
• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies,
including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and capital
campaigns.
• Lead the annual giving program, guide the capital campaign,
solicit corporate and foundation proposals, and direct special
development events.
• Identify and cultivate major donors, building and retaining key
donor relationships.
• Oversee all aspects of the development program, from fundraising
to alumni relations and volunteer coordination.
• Collaborate with the admissions office and the marketing and
communications team to enhance the school's visibility and
reputation.
