General Description:
This is a full-time position approved to work for up to 40 hours/week on the ASU Mid-South Campus with funding approved through June 30th, 2025. The Information Technology Assistant will assist in day-to-day information systems operations with a particular focus on user support, hardware and software deployment, and device maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Provides helpdesk support and direct assistance to users to troubleshoot account and software issues
Supports users in the operation and maintenance of classroom and online technical resources
Helps to set up and maintain IT equipment such as desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and projector
Under the supervision of IT staff, assists with projects related to device deployment, network maintenance, and inventory management
Assists other full-time IT staff in coordinating the work of interns and federal work-study students
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
Working knowledge of common hardware and software issues on devices running recent versions of Windows.
Qualifications:
High school diploma plus previous experience in customer service or IT support, preferably in an educational setting. An associate degree or professional recognized IT certification is preferred.

Salary:
$31,200 with full-time benefits available
