About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President & Corporate Counsel for Dispute Resolution to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of litigation, arbitration, and other dispute-resolution matters, both in the United States and internationally. This role involves investigating and evaluating factual circumstances in disputes, providing litigation risk assessments, and overseeing the development and implementation of conflict resolution strategies. The Vice President & Corporate Counsel will also be involved in managing outside counsel, developing case budgets, and supporting all aspects of company policies and practices related to legal proceedings.Candidates for this position should have a J.D. from a well-respected law school, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. A business-oriented approach to practicing law, proven project management skills, and the ability to work with poise under pressure are essential. The role requires outstanding analytical, writing, and oral presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with electronic discovery and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed are also necessary.
