LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Director of Facilities , who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance and engineering activities. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our clients industrial operations in Monroe, NC. This role requires a strong technical background in engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing preventative maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of facility assets.
Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Utilize root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address recurring equipment failures and performance issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety within the facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and implement best practices for facility management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards related to facility operations.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, capital projects, and resource allocation to optimize performance and minimize costs.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development within the facilities organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or engineering leadership roles within a heavy industrial environment.
Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial engineering disciplines.
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in implementing preventative maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
Experience with root cause analysis techniques such as Six Sigma, 5 Whys, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial facilities.
