Job Title: Associate Specialist, Incident Management
Job Description Summary:
Principal role is managing incidents as part of the Incident Management team in Wealth Management. Provides guidance to others and where necessary, will consult with Wealth Management and the Incident Management Manager(s) as a liaison with NT Executives. Solves complex issues and works independently. May lead projects and/or have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
Major Duties:
Strong knowledge of incident management, operational resiliency, business continuity and disaster recovery activities, providing leadership and experience to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
Strong knowledge in incident management tools and systems.
Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage multiple incidents.
Experience in establishing incident management playbooks, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective incident resolution.
Experience in coordinating and consulting with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, risk, functional groups, other BU’s, and client services to establish clear lines of communication and collaboration during incidents.
Experience in developing and executing testing scenarios, tabletop exercises to ensure completeness and effectiveness of playbooks and procedures.
Ability to analyze incident data and trends to identify root causes, recurring issues and develop strategies/opportunities for preventing future incidents.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of crisis management, disaster, and business recovery and continuity management
Strong knowledge of Wealth Management products and services, including Trust, Investment, Banking, or Brokerage.
Deep understanding of risk management practices including cyber security and how they apply in Financial Servicesorganizations including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters
Experience supporting the implementation of projects and working with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of technologies relevant to responsibilities
Strong understanding of data analytics and related tools including Power BI
Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
Ability to drive to execution
Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
Experience:
8+ years of related experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, Risk, or Controls.
